Carbon fiber is used selectively in highly stressed areas, while main hull keel is reinforced with Kevlar, both sides of core. This helps stiffen the hull for rig loads, plus is an excellent barrier against hull penetration should boat go on rocks. The gold colored Kevlar can be seen in below photo. Resin Infused – all parts are fully resin infused under a high vacuum which draws the resin through the various reinforcing fabrics and perforated foam core simultaneously, giving aerospace quality laminates. |
