The F-44SC
Multihulls Direct, built and launched the first F-44SC. The F-44SC is the ‘super cruiser’ version of the Farrier F-41 with more waterline length, and more internal room. With the F-41 being a proven ocean going design, one having sailed trans Pacific from Australia to the US, and one from Europe to New Zealand. this makes for proven cruiser as well as performance
Once the first F-41s were launched, it became obvious that it had more than enough performance, and interior room could be increased without effecting performance greatly. However, using the F-44R hulls would restore the same high performance, while also giving an increase in loading capacity, to create a true ‘Super Cruiser’. The F-41 rig is still used so that building costs will remain about the same.
